Join us this Transformers Day for a special fan celebration marking the 40th anniversary return of The Transformers: The Movie to the big screen.
From his unforgettable role in the original animated film to the generations of stories that followed, Optimus Prime has become one of the most iconic and inspirational characters in Transformers history. This special evening brings fans together to celebrate the film, the character and the enduring impact of the Autobot leader.
Important event update
Out of respect for Peter Cullen, we have modified the original format and tone of this event. We would still like to give Transformers fans the opportunity to come together around the anniversary release, celebrate the character Peter helped bring to life and recognise the extraordinary legacy he leaves behind.
Your evening will begin at The Transformers Store at Battersea Power Station, where you can meet fellow fans and collect your exclusive event goodie bag. We will then make our way to the cinema for a special screening of The Transformers: The Movie, followed by drinks and a fan celebration reflecting on the film, Optimus Prime and the stories that have inspired generations.
Event Schedule
- 4:45pm- 5:15pm – Meet at The Transformers Store, Battersea Power Station, and collect your event goodie bag, then make your way to the Battersea Power Station Cinema
- 5:30pm – Guests seated for a special screening of The Transformers: The Movie
- Post-screening – Welcome drinks, guest speakers and a celebration of the film and Optimus Prime
- 10:30pm – Last orders

Event Information
Dress Code
Guests are encouraged to wear something inspired by Optimus Prime, including touches of his iconic red and blue colours. Transformers cosplay and fan apparel are also welcome.
Drinks
A selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic refreshments is included.
Food
Food is not included, but a variety of options will be available at the venue.
Photography and Filming
Photography and videography will take place throughout the evening. If you would prefer not to appear in any event content, please speak to a member of the team on arrival.

Fantastic experience, made by people who cared, great people all over, the screening was superb, great audio, great screen and overall excellent presentation.
